Uncle Matt Pays Us a Visit

It has been several weeks since my brother has come over to Fort Worth so yesterday he and my mom paid us a visit.  We were so sad that Tristan his fiance wasn't feeling well so she did make the trip.  Even though Cameron hasn't seen Uncle Matt in a few weeks you can't tell in these pictures! 

TCU Purple

Each year the Frog Club, where I work, hosts a great golf tournament every fall at Colonial Country club. Cameron and I decided to go and say hello to everyone and I made sure she was in her TCU purple!

7 Weeks Old

Yesterday Cameron turned 7 weeks old.  I can't believe that she is going to be 2 months old this Sunday.  She is getting big and really starting to show her personality by following objects and smiling all of the time.

Getting Treated for Jaundice

During Cameron's first week we had to go to the doctor everyday to have her heal pricked to test her Jaundice levels and each day her numbers went up.  So on that Friday we opted for photo therapy and Cook Childens brought out the machine that Cameron had to live in for the next two days.  My mom stayed over that first night and stayed up with her all night long to make sure her goggles stayed on her face and that she was as comfortable as possible.  It was definitely a hard process because she had to be in there at all times other than getting her diaper changed or during feedings but it worked and by Sunday her numbers had dropped and the Jaundice was good.  Here are a few pictures of her personal tanning bed!

Cameron's First Bath

Since this is our first child Steve and I weren't totally sure on giving the first bath so thankfully Steve's mom "Nana" was there to help us out.  Cameron really enjoys her bath time!
